Please reach us at Info@honesthomerepair.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Each Home Care Visit combines preventive maintenance, a general property check, and the included services in your membership plan. We look for visible leaks, safety concerns, maintenance issues, and other small problems that may become more expensive if ignored.
For seniors and aging-in-place households, we can also watch for common concerns such as trip hazards, loose flooring, poor lighting, and other visible safety issues.
Your visit may also include your plan's allotted Honey-Do labor for small repairs and maintenance tasks.
During your Home Care Visits, we'll look for visible safety and maintenance concerns throughout the property, such as plumbing leaks, loose hardware, damaged flooring, poor lighting, and other conditions that may need attention.
For seniors and aging-in-place households, we pay additional attention to potential trip and mobility hazards, including loose flooring or rugs, poorly lit areas, difficult transitions, and locations where grab bars or other safety improvements may be beneficial.
If we identify a concern, we'll document it, explain what we found, and recommend appropriate next steps.
This is a visual maintenance and safety check and is not a substitute for a licensed home inspection, engineering evaluation, or other specialized inspection when one is required.
Yes—but the core structure of each membership plan stays the same. This keeps pricing predictable and ensures every member receives the preventive maintenance and property care included with their plan.
You can personalize your membership in two main ways:
Choose Your Honey-Do Priorities:
For plans that include Honey-Do labor, you decide which eligible repairs and maintenance tasks you'd like us to focus on during each Home Care Visit.
Add Property-Specific Services:
During onboarding and future visits, we can identify optional services that make sense for your property. These may include exterior cleaning, roof and gutter checks, crawlspace checks, lawn and landscaping care, and other preventive maintenance services. We'll provide upfront pricing for any optional services you choose to add.
Your membership tier provides the foundation, while your Honey-Do List and optional services allow us to tailor the care around your property's actual needs.
We take the use of your membership time seriously. Included labor is intended for productive work on your property, and our technicians digitally track service time through Jobber.
Technicians may also use their phones during a visit for legitimate work purposes, such as taking service photos, reviewing product information, documenting your property, or communicating with our office.
If you ever have a concern about how your time was used, simply contact our office. We'll review the service record and make it right if an adjustment is warranted.
Your membership time should provide real value—we don't believe in stretching the clock.
If a project is likely to take longer than your plan's included labor time, we'll let you know before exceeding it. We won't continue into additional billable time without your approval.
You'll have three options:
Option 1: Finish It Now
If the technician's schedule allows, you can authorize additional labor to finish the project that day. Additional eligible labor will be billed at your standard rate, minus your active member discount.
Option 2: Finish It During Your Next Home Care Visit
If the project can be safely paused, we'll document where we stopped in your Jobber service record and continue the work during your next scheduled Home Care Visit using that visit's included labor time.
Option 3: Get a Flat-Rate Quote
If the project turns out to be larger or more complex than expected, we can provide a separate flat-rate quote and schedule the work outside your regular Home Care Visit. Your applicable member discount will be applied to eligible work.
No surprise labor charges. We'll explain your options and let you decide how you'd like to proceed.
No. If we provide a flat-rate price for a defined scope of work, you pay the price you approved—even if the repair takes us longer than expected.
More Time Does Not Mean More Money:
If the job simply takes longer because of difficult access, stubborn fasteners, or other normal complications, that's our responsibility. You won't be charged additional labor just because the work took longer than we anticipated.
The Exception — A Change in Scope:
If we uncover a hidden or pre-existing condition that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand—such as concealed water damage, rot, insect damage, unsafe wiring, or another underlying problem—the required work may fall outside the original scope.
If that happens, we'll stop, explain what we found, and provide updated pricing before performing any additional work. Nothing outside the approved scope will be completed without your authorization.
The simple rule: Same scope = same price. Changed scope = your approval before the price changes.
We offer FREE Virtual Estimates for many common repairs and installations. Simply submit your project details along with photos or videos, and we'll review the information and provide upfront pricing whenever possible.
Request a FREE Virtual Estimate
For projects that require an in-person inspection, troubleshooting, measurements, or diagnosis before we can accurately determine the scope of work, we offer an On-Site Estimate/Diagnostic Visit for $125.
If you approve the recommended work, the $125 fee is credited toward your project.
Honest Home Repairs specializes in repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, Honey-Do lists, and ongoing property care for residential and commercial clients. We are not a large-scale remodeling, roofing, plumbing, or electrical contractor.
For projects that require a licensed or specialized trade, we can still help make the process easier.
Trusted Specialist Referrals
When appropriate, we can connect you with local professionals we know and trust for services outside our normal scope.
Project Coordination
For certain projects, Honest Home Repairs may also be able to help coordinate scheduling and communication between you and the appropriate specialists, depending on the scope of work and applicable licensing requirements.
We take referrals seriously and continually evaluate the professionals in our network based on reliability, communication, quality of work, and customer experience.
Our goal is simple: if a project is outside our scope, we'll be upfront about it and help point you in the right direction whenever we can.
Your reserved time is yours. If we finish your original list ahead of schedule, we'll ask if there are any additional tasks you'd like completed.
If you don't have anything else ready, your technician can use the remaining time for general property maintenance and safety checks, such as checking smoke and CO detectors, looking for visible plumbing leaks, tightening loose hardware, and identifying maintenance items that may need attention.
Our goal is to help you get the most value possible from the time you've reserved.

Yes. We stand behind our work with a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
If a covered repair or installation fails within one year due to our workmanship, we'll return and correct the workmanship issue at no additional labor charge.
Our workmanship warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, damage caused by other parties, pre-existing or unrelated property conditions, or defective materials and products.
Manufacturer warranties may apply to defective products or materials.
If you have a problem with work we've performed, contact us and we'll make it a priority to evaluate the issue.
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice are subject to a $125 cancellation/rescheduling fee.
Because we reserve dedicated time specifically for your property, adequate notice allows us to make that appointment available to another customer.
We understand that true emergencies happen. Emergency situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and the cancellation/rescheduling fee may be waived at our discretion.
