 Hi, I’m Joshua Barnes. My journey in the residential and commercial repair industry began back in 2008. After years of seeing how the trades operated, I knew homeowners deserved a higher standard of service. In August 2016, I founded Honest Home Repairs, LLC with a single, clear mission: to provide the absolute best home services possible, period.I’ve always believed that how you do anything is how you do everything. I take immense pride in executing every project correctly the very first time.

God has blessed my life in more ways than I can count, starting foremost with my salvation. He has gifted me a wonderful wife, Taelor Barnes, and together we are raising four incredible children: Levi, Noah, Ruth, and Eden.My core business philosophy isn't driven by profit margins—it's driven by my desire to do what is right before God first. My work ethic is deeply influenced by Colossians 3:23:

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

In 2020, when we found out our second child, Noah, was on the way, I felt a powerful urgency to establish a secure, long-term career path for my growing family. That led me to join the Fayetteville Fire Department, where I am incredibly proud to serve our local community today as a specialist on the NCRRT3 Hazmat team.My time in public service didn't take away from my passion for home repairs—it supercharged it. The structural schedules of the fire department allowed me the mental clarity to brainstorm, strategize, and put operational frameworks into place to serve my home-repair clients at a much higher, more sophisticated level.

I refuse to compromise our quality just to scale up. My ongoing goal is to seek out the "best of the best" in our region. Behind every dedicated family business is a partner who holds everything together, and I cannot express how truly blessed I am to have my wife, Taelor Barnes, by my side. We were married in May 2012, and she has been my best friend and closest confidante ever since. Quite simply, I don’t know what I would do without her. 

Taelor serves our family in the most important role there is—as a devoted, full-time mother. She completely manages our household and pours her heart into homeschooling our four children: Levi, Noah, Ruth, and Eden. 

In addition to raising our family, Taelor is a vital part of Honest Home Repairs LLC. She assists the business in so many ways behind the scenes, offering wisdom, structural support, and a helping hand wherever it is needed. Her dedication at home gives our team the freedom to serve our clients with excellence, making her just as much a part of this company’s foundation as the tools in our trucks.

 I met Will through our church family at Berean Baptist Church, where Will serves faithfully as a deacon. Getting to know him in our community made it instantly clear that he is a man of profound integrity who puts doing what is right before everything else.

Mike and I met back in 2017 at our church, Berean Baptist Church. We became fast friends and have spent the 

years since working side-by-side on many jobs throughout our community. Because we’ve spent so much time in the trenches together, I know his character, I know his faith, and I know he shares the exact same uncompromising standards for honesty and integrity that define my own business.
